Chapter President's Message

“Daughters Making a Difference in the 21st Century”

As the oldest chapter in the state of Florida, some very influential and powerful women laid the ground work for our organization 119 years ago. The mantle of leadership now falls to us to grow & transition ourselves into the 21st century in order to attract daughters of the future.

One of the most powerful tools available to us today is technology. It can enable us to communicate more effectively amongst ourselves as well as provide public relations in the vast community of cyberspace. Technology also helps us to reduce our operating cost, improve organizational efficiencies, educate the public & preserve our historical documents and sites.

You may ask how is this even possible? By building upon one block and then adding another. We have the foundation, now we have to build the wall.
